Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Launches Digital Anganwadi Initiative

In a significant move to modernize early childhood care and women's welfare services, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated a comprehensive digital and empowered Anganwadi system. The initiative, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and reach of Anganwadi centers across the state, was launched with the distribution of advanced technological tools to workers and supervisors.

Mass Distribution of Smartphones and Appointment Letters

As part of this ambitious project, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath provided a total of 69,804 smartphones to Anganwadi workers and supervisors. These devices are expected to facilitate better communication, data collection, and real-time monitoring of services provided at the grassroots level.

In addition to the smartphones, the CM also distributed appointment letters to 18,440 Anganwadi workers and helpers, formalizing their roles and ensuring a structured workforce to support the state's child development and women welfare programs.

Deployment of Growth Monitoring Devices

To further strengthen health and nutrition tracking, the government distributed more than 2 lakh growth monitoring devices to Anganwadi workers. These tools will enable accurate assessment of children's growth parameters, helping in early identification of malnutrition and other health issues, thereby improving intervention strategies.

Inauguration of High-Value Development Projects

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various child development and women welfare projects with a total worth of more than ₹450 crore. These projects encompass a range of initiatives designed to uplift the quality of life for women and children in Uttar Pradesh, focusing on infrastructure development, healthcare, and educational support.

The launch of this digital Anganwadi system is poised to transform the delivery of essential services in rural and urban areas. Key objectives include:
