Jagan Reddy accuses Naidu govt of deception, scams, fraud

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Chandrababu Naidu-led state government, accusing it of deception, scams, and fraud. Addressing a public meeting, Reddy claimed that Naidu had made 143 promises in his election manifesto ahead of the 2024 assembly polls, but most of them remain unfulfilled.

Unfulfilled Promises

Reddy said that people are now questioning the fate of those promises, adding that the Naidu government has failed to deliver on key issues such as employment, welfare schemes, and infrastructure development. He alleged that the ruling party is involved in multiple scams and is deceiving the public.

Call for Accountability

The YSR Congress Party chief demanded a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities and urged the opposition to hold the government accountable. He also criticized the Naidu administration for its handling of the state's economy and law and order situation.

Reacting to Reddy's remarks, state government spokespersons dismissed the allegations as baseless and politically motivated. They asserted that the Naidu government is committed to fulfilling all promises and has already initiated several welfare programs.
