UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Reviews Health Services in Amroha

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Monday reviewed healthcare services and inspected facilities at a community health centre during his visit to Amroha. He directed officials to strengthen medical services and ensure timely treatment for patients at government hospitals.

Heatwave Alert and Medical Preparedness

In view of the ongoing heatwave, all hospitals across the state have been placed on alert. Adequate arrangements of medicines have been ensured in hospitals, with beds reserved for emergencies, the minister said while interacting with health department officials.

Government Initiatives in Medical Education

Highlighting government initiatives, Pathak noted that the number of medical colleges in the state had doubled from 40 to 81 since the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power. He added that annual MBBS graduates had risen from 5,000 to nearly 12,500, based on which medical staff will be deployed in hospitals. Pathak also announced plans to establish cancer hospitals in all 18 divisions of Uttar Pradesh, strengthen intensive care units, and set up trauma centres.

Sharp Attack on Opposition Parties

The Deputy Chief Minister launched a sharp attack on opposition parties. He criticised the Samajwadi Party for lawlessness during its tenure, describing it as a government of goons. Pathak alleged that criminal elements operated freely under the former Samajwadi Party regime. Referring to alleged land-grabbing incidents, he claimed that the party functioned with the mindset that every vacant plot belongs to us. He said the state was now witnessing good governance under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and asserted that no form of criminal rule would be tolerated.

Targeting Online Satirical Movement

Pathak also targeted the satirical online movement Cockroach Janata Party, alleging that a large section of its social media followers were from Pakistan and Bangladesh. He accused such groups of spreading misinformation, while stressing that the public continued to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Criticism of Congress

Turning his attack on the Congress, Pathak said Rahul Gandhi and other party leaders were under tremendous stress and pressure, claiming they were aware of India’s rapid progress under Modi’s leadership and the Prime Minister’s growing stature as a global leader.
