UP CM: Ganga Expressway Completed Without Bank Loans

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the ambitious Ganga Expressway project, worth ₹42,000 crore, has been completed without taking any bank loans. This achievement underscores the state's improved financial management and discipline under the current administration.

Financial Transformation of Uttar Pradesh

During a recent event, CM Adityanath highlighted that over the past nine years, Uttar Pradesh has transformed from a 'BIMARU' state to a revenue surplus state. The state's economy, budget, and per capita income have tripled due to strict financial discipline and better governance. This progress reflects the government's commitment to sustainable development and fiscal responsibility.

Appointment Letters Distributed

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed appointment letters to newly selected personnel in the Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit Department. This step aims to strengthen grassroots governance and ensure efficient implementation of development schemes.

Criticism of Previous Projects

CM Adityanath did not shy away from criticizing the previous administration, pointing to the incomplete JPNIC project in Lucknow as an example of financial irregularity and mismanagement. He emphasized that such projects serve as lessons for the current government to maintain transparency and efficiency in public spending.

The Ganga Expressway is expected to boost connectivity and economic growth in the region, further solidifying Uttar Pradesh's position as a key contributor to India's development story.
