The 48th battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) launched a significant initiative on Tuesday. They started a six-day pre-recruitment training program at D B College in Jaynagar, Madhubani district. This camp aims specifically to prepare young men and women from border areas for selection into the armed forces.
Camp Inauguration and Key Message
Commandant Govind Singh Bhandari formally inaugurated the training camp. He addressed a gathering of 125 enthusiastic participants. Bhandari delivered a powerful message to the aspiring recruits. He stressed that success in the armed forces demands more than just physical prowess.
He emphasised the critical importance of mental strength, unwavering discipline, personal integrity, and a profound sense of patriotism. The commandant urged all trainees to view this program as a golden opportunity. He encouraged them to put in dedicated effort to make the most of it.
Comprehensive Training Curriculum
The six-day program is designed to be holistic. It covers several key areas essential for clearing armed forces recruitment.
