Cabinet Secretary T V Somanathan, who is leading the government's drive to reduce regulatory burdens and spur greater economic activity, will present a detailed overview of the progress made so far and the future roadmap for deregulation. States have also been tasked with sharing their best practices and insights on the assigned themes.
State and Ministry Presentations
A series of state-specific presentations will highlight regional initiatives. Kerala is expected to share its experiences in the realm of higher education, while Tamil Nadu will detail its approaches to skilling and building a future-ready workforce. Rajasthan is slated to make three presentations covering the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme for women's economic empowerment, school education reforms, and its flagship iStart initiative aimed at fostering innovation, job creation, and investment facilitation.
In a unique presentation, Telangana will discuss planning for 'a post-left wing extremism future'. On the central ministry front, the Education Ministry will delve into teacher recruitment and initiatives to improve the quality of teachers and PhD scholars. The Sports Ministry will outline a mission-mode plan for developing sports infrastructure and talent from the school to university level.
Broader Governance and Development Plans
Adding to the comprehensive agenda, Niti Aayog will share insights on leveraging technology in governance. Furthermore, the tourism department will present plans for developing world-class tourism destinations across the country, underscoring the holistic approach to national development being undertaken.
