Over 6,000 Officials to Conduct Census 2027 in Nagaland

Dimapur: More than 6,000 government officials will be engaged in the conduct of Census 2027 in Nagaland. The census will be carried out in two phases, as announced by the directorate of census operations.

First Phase: House-listing and Self-Enumeration

The first phase of house-listing operations will provide citizens an opportunity to enumerate their households through an online self-enumeration facility from June 16 to June 30. This will be followed by verification of the self-enumerated data and enumeration of households that have not been covered.

Second Phase: Population Enumeration

The second phase, scheduled for February 2027, will involve population enumeration, during which population data will be collected across the state. The directorate has appealed to all citizens to actively participate and extend their full cooperation in ensuring the successful conduct of Census 2027.
