Highest Distribution in North East District
The highest number of forms was distributed in the North East district, which recorded 1,44,001 forms. This was followed by the North district with 1,11,728 forms, South West district with 1,03,874 forms, and West district with 87,162 forms. Other districts also saw substantial distribution, reflecting the intensive nature of the revision drive.
The SIR aims to ensure that all eligible voters are enrolled, with a focus on areas where voter turnout has historically been low or where demographic changes have occurred. The Election Commission has deployed enumerators across all 11 districts of Delhi to carry out door-to-door visits.
Digitisation and Verification Process
Over 32,000 forms have been digitised so far, allowing for faster processing and verification.
