In Tamil Nadu, Vijay's TVK party has emerged as a formidable force, reshaping the political landscape. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is trailing behind Suvendu Adhikari after the second round of counting in Bhabanipur. The TVK has pushed both the DMK and AIADMK to the margins, while the BJP appears poised to oust Mamata in Bengal and retain Assam.

By evening, party workers, led by key leaders and former chief ministers, shifted into celebratory mode at the party headquarters in Harmu. Later, workers also gathered at several other locations across the city, beating dhol and nagas.

Party Leaders Hail Victory

Party president and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu stated, "The victory is not merely an electoral result, but a seal of approval on the politics of development and good governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi." He added that 15 years of misrule by the Trinamool Congress government led by Mamata Banerjee in Bengal has finally come to an end. "Bengal will now be free of infiltration and appeasement politics for good," he said.

Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda remarked that the victory in Bengal is the result of years of struggle by party workers. "This mandate inspires us to live up to the expectations of the people with even greater responsibility," he opined.

Celebrations in Bokaro and Dhanbad

In Bokaro, saffron party workers celebrated outside the residence of former MLA Biranchi Narayan with drums, fireworks, sweets, and colors. Narayan credited the victory to public faith in the central leadership, attributing the BJP's expanding footprint to this trust.

In Dhanbad, Sunil Kumar Pandey, a BJP worker and IT cell head of the Manaitand Mandal unit, shaved his head in public. He had taken a pledge a year ago that he would not cut his hair or beard until the BJP formed a full majority government in Bengal.
