Amit Shah's Seemanchal Infiltration Charge in Bihar Polls

Union Minister Amit Shah Launches Scathing Attack on Opposition in Bihar

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has launched a fierce political offensive against the Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance during the high-stakes Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. In a significant campaign speech, Shah directly targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, leveling a serious allegation against the opposition combine.

"Den of Infiltrators" Allegation Rocks Campaign

Shah accused the opposition leaders of being "hell-bent on making Seemanchal a 'den' of infiltrators." This strong charge was made in the context of the ongoing electoral battle in the politically crucial state of Bihar. The Seemanchal region, comprising several eastern districts, has often been at the center of political discourse concerning immigration and border security.

The senior BJP leader made these remarks while addressing a rally, intensifying the political rhetoric as the state undergoes its multi-phase assembly elections. The first phase of the Bihar polls was held on November 6, 2025, according to the Minister's reference during his speech.

Shah Confident of NDA Performance

Exuding confidence in the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) performance, Amit Shah claimed that "Half of the state has already shown the door to the Congress-RJD combine." This statement serves as a direct commentary on the perceived public response to the first phase of voting that concluded recently.

The Union Home Minister's comments come at a critical juncture in the election schedule, with subsequent phases yet to be conducted. His remarks are seen as an attempt to consolidate the NDA's position and influence the remaining phases of polling in the politically significant Hindi heartland state.

As the election campaign reaches its peak, such sharp exchanges between the ruling alliance and the opposition are expected to intensify, setting the stage for a closely contested battle for power in Bihar.
