Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition Launches in India

Mercedes-Benz has kicked off 2026 in India with a grand launch. The German automaker introduced the ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition to the market. This special edition model celebrates the success of the flagship GLS SUV in the country.

Exclusive Edition and Major Price Cuts

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition carries a hefty price tag of ₹4.10 crore, ex-showroom. It features distinct visual upgrades and cabin changes that set it apart from standard models.

In a significant move, Mercedes-Benz announced local production of the GLS SUV at its Pune factory. This makes India the first country outside the United States to manufacture the Mercedes-Benz GLS locally.

The local production brings substantial price reductions. The made-in-India Mercedes-Maybach GLS now costs ₹2.75 crore, ex-showroom. This marks a sharp drop from the fully imported model's price of ₹3.17 crore. The price cut amounts to approximately ₹40 lakh.

Massive 23-inch Maybach five-hole forged alloy wheels complete the look. These wheels feature a ceramically high-sheen polished finish and fully integrated wheel bolt covers.
