Vice-President of India, C P Radhakrishnan, performed the official release by presenting the first copy to Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar. The event was further dignified by the attendance of spiritual and political leaders, including Swami Satchidananda, President of the Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust, and Swami Subhamgananda, its General Secretary. Union Minister of State for Tourism Suresh Gopi and State Local Self-Government Minister M B Rajesh were also present on the occasion.
