Historic Gathering in Ayodhya for Ram Temple Ceremony
The sacred city of Ayodhya is experiencing unprecedented excitement as thousands of devotees and prominent business leaders converge for the historic flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple on Tuesday. The atmosphere is electric with spiritual fervor and anticipation.
Industrial Giants Arrive via Chartered Flights
On Monday afternoon, Ayodhya airport witnessed a significant influx of private chartered flights carrying distinguished personalities. Among the notable arrivals was Satyanarayan Nuwal, co-founder and chairman of Nagpur-based Solar Industries India Ltd, a global leader in industrial explosives, detonators, ammunition and defence products valued at USD 15 billion.
Airport authorities confirmed that Vishad Padmanabh Mafatlal, head of the prestigious Mafatlal Group - one of India's oldest textile families - also arrived along with several other dignitaries in non-scheduled private planes. In addition to private charters, 12 scheduled flights operated throughout the day to accommodate the growing number of visitors.
The dignitaries received a traditional welcome from Ayodhya airport director Dhirendra Singh, along with ADM Amit Bhatt and city magistrate Rajesh Mishra, who greeted them with tilak and special "Ram-Naam" stoles.
Massive Pilgrim Influx via Indian Railways
The railway network has been instrumental in transporting the enormous number of devotees to Ayodhya. Over the past two days, more than 60,000 pilgrims have arrived by train, creating record footfalls at local stations.
On Sunday alone, Ayodhya Dham station recorded approximately 17,000 passenger arrivals, while Ayodhya Cantt witnessed over 16,500 visitors. By Monday night, officials expected the combined footfall at both stations to cross 40,000, with 30 scheduled express trains bringing additional visitors to the holy city.
To manage this massive influx, Indian Railways deployed approximately 400 staff members across both stations and established six PRS and UTS counters along with seven Automatic Ticket Vending Machines at each location, ensuring smooth passenger movement and ticket processing.
The convergence of spiritual devotion and national significance makes this event a landmark moment in Ayodhya's history, bringing together people from all walks of life to witness this historic occasion.
