Dr. Samprasad Vinod on Lifelong Education

Dr. Samprasad Vinod shared his perspective on education. He described it as a continuous lifelong process. He observed that modern education often neglects a crucial aspect. The ability to derive true knowledge from education gets overlooked.

He emphasized that learning should be experience-based. Therefore, special emphasis must go to strengthening children's foundations. Referring to Swami Vivekananda, he highlighted key goals. Instilling self-confidence and awareness of one's existence among children remains vital.

Avinash Jogdand Explains Gurukul Objectives

Avinash Jogdand detailed the objectives of the new Gurukul. These include value-based personality development. Fostering national and social awareness forms another goal. Strengthening democracy and educating citizens about rights and duties are key aims.

He added that the Gurukul redefines patriotism as responsibility. A free, flexible, and joyful Gurukul system has been developed. It integrates education, values, experience, and dialogue. This approach targets the all-round development of children.

Experts Stress Values and Agriculture

Pandurang Taware and Pundalik Wagh addressed the gathering too. They stressed that ideal personalities form through values and education. This makes the Gurukul system highly relevant today.

They also emphasized an important need. The younger generation must reconnect with agriculture in coming years. Encouraging this shift will benefit society and individuals alike.
