Saugata Pit, an executive at SMCH, emphasized that this initiative is designed to support independent radiologists in transitioning from employees to owners of diagnostic enterprises. By focusing on clinician-owned diagnostic centers, the project aims to reach over a million patients annually, aligning with the government's vision to transform smaller towns into medical hubs.

An investment of Rs 1,000 crore will be deployed over the five-year period, prioritizing autonomy for radiologists to own their clinics while receiving comprehensive technical and operational support from SMC Clinics and Truevis.
