According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature also remained significantly high at 28.6 degrees Celsius, marking a departure of 3.3 degrees above normal. This made Monday one of the warmest nights of the season so far. The previous highest maximum temperature recorded this summer was 43 degrees Celsius.
Weather Forecast and Warnings
The weather department has indicated that harsh summer conditions are likely to persist in Lucknow and surrounding areas. Clear skies and strong surface winds are expected, with wind speeds ranging between 20 and 30 kilometers per hour, and gusts potentially reaching up to 40 kilometers per hour.
The IMD has forecast dry weather across Uttar Pradesh and issued a warning for heatwave to severe heatwave conditions at a few places in both western and eastern parts of the state. Additionally, warm night conditions are likely at isolated locations in western Uttar Pradesh.

The combination of high daytime temperatures and elevated nighttime temperatures has increased discomfort levels in the city. With no rainfall forecast and dry westerly winds prevailing, temperatures are expected to remain around 43 degrees Celsius over the next 24 hours.
