In Hindu tradition, Chaturthi tithi is dedicated to the worship of Lord Ganesha. Devotees honor him with great devotion on this day, offering sincere prayers and observing a strict fast from dawn to dusk. Chaturthi is considered one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. Lord Ganesha, known as the first worshipped deity, is invoked before any auspicious event. There are 24 Chaturthi observances in a year, occurring twice each month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. Sankashti Chaturthi, which falls during Krishna Paksha, has its own unique name and significance for each occurrence. This time, Vibhuvana Sankashti Chaturthi will be observed on the fourth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Adhik Jyeshtha Maas.
