She stated that she refused the project multiple times, explicitly saying, "When I was offered this show, I didn't even like the name. I just rejected it for the longest time." Her resistance was so strong that she attempted to steer the conversation towards other opportunities, firmly stating her disinterest in daily soap formats.
The producers, however, were persistent. They were convinced she was perfect for the part of Anita Bhabhi and continued to pursue her despite her repeated refusals. "My producer kept telling me, 'Don't go. It's not easy to get this kind of money. Your show is very popular.' But money was not exciting me enough and I thought this is only one life so I got to try different things," she revealed. This philosophy propelled her to seek new challenges, leading to her role as Ulfat in 'Dhurandhar' opposite Akshaye Khanna.
