From Social Media to TV: Stuti Parmar's Journey on Wheel of Fortune
Stuti Parmar: From Influencer to Wheel of Fortune Contestant

Chandigarh Influencer Stuti Parmar Shares Her Wheel of Fortune Experience with Akshay Kumar

Stuti Parmar, a social media personality from Chandigarh, recently made her television debut as a contestant on the popular reality show Wheel of Fortune, hosted by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. In an exclusive conversation, she opened up about her remarkable transition from digital content creation to the national television stage, offering insights into her unique journey and aspirations.

The Evolution from Social Media to Television Spotlight

When asked about her beginnings as an influencer, Stuti provided a nuanced perspective. "I never really saw my page as just an Instagram influencer account," she explained. "My goal was always to create something authentic with its own voice and opinion—similar to what a journalist does. Since pursuing traditional journalism wasn't feasible, I picked up the camera to share the perspective of an Indian corporate woman, showcasing my life in hopes that others might gain valuable insights. If that qualifies me as an influencer, then perhaps I am one."

An Unexpected Opportunity on Wheel of Fortune

Stuti's entry into the television world came as a complete surprise. She described Wheel of Fortune as a distinctive show for Indian audiences, noting its positive 'Subh khelo subh jeeto' (play well, win well) concept where everyone leaves a winner, making it engaging and enjoyable. "When the show's team contacted me via Instagram, I was skeptical—I'd never auditioned for anything like this before," she recalled. "After multiple rounds of selection, I found myself on stage with Akshay Kumar! The experience was incredible. As a fun-loving person, this show was perfect for me. Akshay was energetic, punctual, and patient, guiding us on how to spin the wheel. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where I truly lived up to my potential."

Key Lessons from the Digital World

Reflecting on her time as an influencer, Stuti highlighted both the advantages and challenges of social media. "Instagram has bridged global distances, allowing us in India to see what someone in London is doing," she said. "However, this connectivity comes with intense scrutiny and judgment. It's crucial to be mindful of what you post online, as everything remains permanent. If content goes viral, past posts can attract unwanted attention. I've learned to be cautious about my online presence."

Future Aspirations in Entertainment

Looking ahead, Stuti expressed openness to diverse opportunities. "I'm always ready to embrace new experiences—my philosophy is 'Ek life hai, subh kuch krk jana hai' (you only live once, so do everything)," she shared. "While I'm open to any format, my interest leans toward entertaining audiences on reality shows like Bigg Boss or Traitors. The entertainment industry fascinates me, and I'm eager to explore where this journey takes me next."
