The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman Movie Review

Jackie Shroff brings his trademark charm to the role of Jagdishchandra, a seemingly ordinary grandfather who is secretly a superhero. Directed by Manish Saini, this sci-fi comedy is a delightful family entertainer that keeps you laughing throughout.

Story

Deepu (Mihir Godbole), a young boy trying to fit in at his new school, boasts that his grandfather is a superhero. When aliens actually attack, Deepu and his friend Laddu (Shivanssh Chourghe) must convince Dadaji to rediscover his powers and save the day.

Review

The first half is packed with hilarious moments, including a boxing match between Deepu's grandfather and a national-level champion. The aliens, dressed in pink kurta-pyjamas, add to the comedy. While the second half loses some steam, the film remains engaging with its brisk 112-minute runtime. The VFX is inconsistent but serves the story well. Jackie Shroff shines as the endearing superhero, and the young actors deliver strong performances. Prateik Smita Patil is menacing as the alien villain, though his screen time is limited.
