Sharwanand Proclaims 'Biker' as His Career-Best Film, India's Pioneering Motocross Movie
In a bold declaration, actor Sharwanand has expressed immense confidence in his upcoming film 'Biker,' which is being touted as India's first-ever Motocross movie. The actor, recently seen in 'Nari Nari Naduma Murari,' has labeled this project the finest of his cinematic journey so far.
A Landmark Project with High Risks and Challenges
Speaking at a trailer launch event in Chennai, Sharwanand revealed to IANS, "Biker is my best film till now! Why is it the best film? There are several reasons. This is the first Indian motocross film to be made." He emphasized that the film was crafted with high risk, facing numerous obstacles during production.
"What I can promise you is that every Indian will be proud to say this is our Indian cinema. It is not an easy film to shoot. It is the toughest film to shoot," he stated. The team filmed sequences in Indonesia, where multiple accidents occurred. These intense behind-the-scenes moments will be showcased in a making video planned for release.
Personal Transformation and Emotional Journey
Sharwanand described 'Biker' as a turning point in his life, demanding significant physical and emotional changes. "Biker is a turning point in my life. It changed me as a person. I had to lose 22 kilos for this film," he shared. The script, narrated by director Abhi, required him to portray two variations: an 18-year-old and a 30-year-old character.
This dual role transformed his perspective on cinema, life, health, and body, making the film particularly close to his heart. The story follows Vikky, a serious bike racer driven by speed and discipline, with a strained father-son relationship forming the emotional core. When his father calls him weak, it propels him to prove himself, adding depth to the plot.
Release Plans and Enhanced Experience
'Biker' is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 3 this year. Originally set for December 6, the makers postponed it to refine the overall experience. Production house UV Creations announced, "#Biker stands postponed! A new release date will be announced soon. A bigger, better experience is being crafted with care and assembled with passion."
The film will be released in multiple formats, including 3D and 4DX, aiming to deliver an immersive viewing experience. Sharwanand's last appearance in 'Nari Nari Naduma Murari' received mixed reviews, but 'Biker' promises to elevate his career with its unique premise and personal stakes.
As anticipation builds, this motocross film not only marks a first for Indian cinema but also showcases Sharwanand's dedication to pushing boundaries in storytelling and performance.
