The India gross reached Rs 11.37 crore. The film also performed strongly in international markets, collecting Rs 18.00 crore on day one. This brought the worldwide gross total to Rs 29.37 crore.
Critical Acclaim
The action film has garnered positive reviews from critics. An exclusive ETimes review highlights Mammootty's performance as Daniel James, noting that he carries the film's first half on his shoulders. The review states: 'For a patient moviegoer, this film works in ways that unfold only when you are willing to be part of the world-building and character development. Daniel turning into a vlogger after the first quarter adds an interesting layer, and the slow pace and setting only build the intrigue further. Casting Mohanlal in a significant role that has yet to make a physical screen appearance until then also deepens that intrigue and rewards patience. Mammootty delivers an exemplary performance as Daniel.'
