Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya is currently working on his next film, ‘Vrushakarma,’ directed by Karthik Dandu. The film is set to be an adventure, mystical thriller with supernatural elements. According to the latest developments, the makers have completed a crucial schedule of the film in Rajasthan.

Makers share BTS stills from Rajasthan

The makers took to their social handle to share that the latest schedule of the movie was completed in the beautiful palaces of Rajasthan. The team also shared a working still from the shooting spot. In the picture, Naga Chaitanya and actress Meenakshi Chaudhary were seen together during the shoot. The makers are said to be happy with the output from this schedule. The BTS pictures also show the director speaking with the team and another shows them working on a scene with dark lighting.

They wrote, “Team #Vrushakarma has completed a crucial schedule amidst the majestic palaces of Rajasthan. Post-production is progressing at a brisk pace, with extensive CGI works underway to deliver A MYTHICAL THRILLER LIKE NEVER BEFORE for Indian audiences. Release Date Announcement soon.”

Naga Chaitanya shares about his character

Earlier, Naga Chaitanya spoke about his role in the movie during a conversation with Variety India. He said, “I play Arjun, a treasure hunter.” He also shared that the film has a completely different feel compared to regular Telugu films. The actor said he watched many Hollywood films in this genre, but only a few Indian films have tried this kind of story. Because of that, the team is trying to give audiences a fresh experience on the big screen.

Heavy VFX work included

Talking about the scale of the film, Naga Chaitanya said, “There is a lot of VFX involved in ‘Vrushakarma’ as we want to create a large-scale theatrical experience for the audience.”

He also revealed that the film is almost complete. “The film is 90 per cent complete, but there is still 10 per cent left. That is why we don’t have an exact release date yet, but are eyeing the August to October window.”

The film also stars ‘Laapataa Ladies’ fame Sparsh Shrivastava as the main villain and features Jayaram and Satya in key roles. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
