Sreenivasan breathed his last at around 8:30 am at the Government Taluk Hospital in Tripunithura, Kochi. According to reports, the actor had been facing persistent health issues for some time. He had undergone heart surgery back in 2022 and was regularly undergoing dialysis.
On Saturday, he was en route to a private hospital in Kochi for his dialysis treatment when he developed sudden breathing difficulties. This medical emergency led to his immediate shift to the Government Taluk Hospital in Tripunithura, where he unfortunately succumbed.

Hailing from Kannur, Sreenivasan had been residing in Kandanadu, Tripunithura, for several years. His body was first taken to his residence and was then kept at the Ernakulam Town Hall to allow his countless fans, friends, and colleagues from the film fraternity to pay their final respects. His last rites are scheduled to be held at his residence.
