Karthik mentioned that he had heard her song 'Kannalane' from a TV show and informed her that Rahman sir was sitting nearby. When Rimi looked towards the window seat, she saw the music legend right there.
"I was shocked... happy... and literally in tears," Rimi recalled in an Instagram post. She described the moment as surreal, saying her heart raced and hands trembled. From take-off to landing, which lasted almost two hours, she felt like she was in another world. She kept questioning herself, "Is this real, or am I dreaming?"
