Global K-pop sensation BTS has officially announced their highly anticipated comeback with a massive world tour scheduled for 2026-2027. The seven-member group will embark on an extensive journey spanning over 70 dates across multiple continents, marking their first headline tour since the Permission to Dance on Stage series concluded in 2022.
Tour Schedule and Key Locations
The BTS world tour will kick off in April 2026 with three hometown concerts in Goyang, South Korea. From there, the group will perform in Tokyo before launching a comprehensive North American leg featuring 28 shows across 12 cities.
North American Highlights
The North American portion includes stops in Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, Las Vegas, East Rutherford, Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto, and Chicago. The group will conclude this segment with four spectacular performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles during early September.
European and Latin American Stops
Following their North American run, BTS will return to Busan in mid-June before heading to Europe. European fans can catch the group in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris throughout June and July. The tour then shifts to Latin America with October performances scheduled in Bogota, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo.
Asia-Pacific Finale
The tour continues through late 2026 and early 2027 across Asia-Pacific territories. Scheduled appearances include Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Manila, wrapping up in March 2027.
New Album Announcement
Alongside the tour announcement, BTS confirmed they will release their fifth full-length studio album on March 20, 2026. This 14-track project represents their first studio album in over six years, following "Map of the Soul: 7" from February 2020.
BigHit Music, the group's label, stated that the album captures the members' personal thoughts and experiences. "True to their identity as artists who express themselves through music, BTS poured their efforts into capturing the essence of who they are today," the company said in an official statement.
Group leader RM shared excitement about the upcoming music through a Weverse update, saying, "The music is coming out really well!! Everyone's trying. Please look forward to it."
Ticket Sales Information
A presale for ARMY Membership holders will occur on January 22 and 23, 2026, through registration on the Weverse platform. General ticket sales for all regions will follow on January 24, 2026.
Return from Military Service
This comeback follows the group's nearly four-year hiatus during which all seven members completed South Korea's mandatory military service. Rapper Suga was the last member to complete his duties in June 2025, having served as a social service agent due to a shoulder injury. The other six members - RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Jung Kook, and j-hope - served in the military.
The 2026-2027 world tour represents BTS's triumphant return to the global stage, promising fans an unforgettable experience across multiple continents over two years.
