Sehban Azim's Christmas Rituals: Secret Santa & Celebrations with TV Stars
Sehban Azim Shares His Heartwarming Christmas Traditions

For popular television actor Sehban Azim, the magic of Christmas isn't confined to a single day of celebration. It's a season woven from threads of shared moments, heartfelt reflection, and the simple joy of giving. Known for his roles in hit shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Bepannaah, and Tujhse Hai Raabta, Azim opens up about the personal traditions that define his festive season.

Three Cherished Gatherings Define the Festive Season

Azim's December calendar is marked by three special events that he looks forward to every year. The first is a long-standing ritual at the home of actress and close friend Jennifer Winget. "That has been a ritual for a long time," he shares. However, this year, with Winget out of the country, the gathering will sadly be skipped.

The actor's second regular festive stop is at the residence of television couple Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchant. He describes it as a relaxed meet-up where a group of friends simply unwind. "We just chill, talk about life, family, and friends," Azim says. He highlights that the best part of the celebrations at both these homes is the beloved tradition of being a Secret Santa.

The third annual event takes him to a cafe, where another circle of friends convenes to enjoy good music, delicious food, and each other's company.

The True Essence: Reflection, Charity, and Childhood Memories

For Sehban Azim, the core of Christmas, much like other Indian festivals, lies in introspection and kindness. "This one reminds us to appreciate our blessings, be generous, and be charitable," he reflects. He believes these occasions become a powerful avenue to extend help to people around you and those in need.

His mind also drifts to fond childhood memories of the festival. "I remember dressing up like Santa and distributing candies in school, and receiving the same from other Santas," he recalls with nostalgia. The spirit of Secret Santa has left a lasting impression on him, especially through thoughtful surprises from close friends. "They somehow knew what was on my list, but I could never buy it, and they gifted it to me as a Secret Santa. That felt like a blessing in disguise," he admits.

Carrying the Spirit Forward Throughout the Year

The lessons and joy from those festive moments have stayed with the actor. Today, Sehban Azim consciously tries to embody the spirit of a Secret Santa beyond the Christmas season. "I still try to be a Secret Santa and make others happy — not just during Christmas, but throughout the year," he affirms. His perspective transforms the festival from a mere date on the calendar into a timeless ethos of gratitude and giving, making every moment a potential celebration of shared humanity.
