Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has officially begun a new chapter in her life, radiating joy and elegance. The star tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a serene and private ceremony on December 1. The wedding took place at the spiritual Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, with only close family and friends in attendance.
Fresh glimpses from the special day have now emerged on social media, showcasing Samantha's breathtaking bridal avatar. Shared by her stylist, Pallavi Singh, on Instagram, the new pictures offer an intimate look at the celebrations.
Ethereal Bridal Moments Captured
One of the newly shared images captures Samantha walking with a graceful poise and a luminous smile, embodying a calm happiness. Her groom, Raj, is seen following her, engaged in a conversation with a friend, lending a candid and natural vibe to the frame.
Another beautiful shot shows the actress looking upwards, her face serene. She adorned a classic red wedding saree, with her hair styled in a neat bun and decorated with fresh jasmine flowers. The overall styling was deliberately simple and elegant, allowing her natural glow to take center stage effortlessly.
The Story Behind the Minimalist Mehendi
For her wedding mehendi, Samantha opted for a subtle and minimalistic design, a trend she is now setting. The art was crafted by Chennai-based henna artist Arulmozhi Ilavarasu. The artist revealed that Samantha was very specific about her preferences, wanting a design that was understated yet traditionally rooted.
"Samantha was very mindful about getting a minimal henna design, which is a trendsetter," shared Ilavarasu. She explained that minimal designs often appear more visible and vibrant and contribute a unique vibe to the wedding aesthetic compared to full-hand patterns.
The artist also disclosed a sweet, hidden personal touch. The groom's name, 'Raj', was intricately concealed within the henna design on her right middle finger. "It's a part of the henna culture to hide the groom's name," Ilavarasu added, highlighting this charming detail that added a layer of intimacy to Samantha's bridal look.
A Spiritual and Intimate Union
The couple exchanged their vows and rings in front of the Linga Bhairavi abode within the Isha Yoga Centre, choosing a peaceful and spiritually significant setting for their union. The ceremony was kept intentionally small and heartfelt.
Samantha and Raj's relationship blossomed from a professional partnership. They have collaborated on several successful projects including 'The Family Man 2', 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', and 'Subham'. Reports suggest their friendship evolved into romance over the past couple of years. The professional synergy continues, as they are slated to work together again in the upcoming project 'Rakt Brahmand'.
