Politician Raghav Chadha has recently shared intimate details about his life after marrying Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra, revealing how she brought much-needed balance to his previously work-dominated schedule. In a candid conversation, the AAP leader expressed how marriage has transformed his perspective on life and priorities.
Before tying the knot with Parineeti, Raghav admitted his life lacked any concept of work-life balance. "Before marriage, there was nothing called as work-life balance in my life. And post marriage, I feel it's like a blessing to me that Pari has made me realize the value of work-life balance," he told Curly Tales during their recent interaction.
Parineeti's Delhi Adaptation: From Mumbai Girl to Capital Foodie
When asked about how the self-proclaimed "Mumbai girl" is adjusting to life in the capital city, Raghav revealed that Parineeti has developed a genuine fondness for Delhi - particularly its culinary offerings. "Well, I think she loves Delhi. I mean, of course she's a Mumbai girl... But when she comes to Delhi, she enjoys it a lot," he shared enthusiastically.
The politician highlighted that food has been a significant factor in Parineeti's Delhi experience. "One thing she loves about Delhi is the food. She's a big foodie. And this is my opinion, not hers. The food that you get in Delhi, you don't get in Mumbai. The chaat, pakodi... you don't get that flavour in Mumbai," Raghav explained, showcasing his wife's growing appreciation for North Indian cuisine.
The Memorable First Meeting with Parineeti's Parents
Raghav also recounted the heartwarming story of his first encounter with Parineeti's parents, Pawan Chopra and Reena Chopra, at their Ambala home. What was intended to be a brief meeting turned into an extended, warm family gathering that lasted hours beyond the planned duration.
"The first meeting was in Ambala... It was a very good and interesting meeting. I was originally supposed to spend only 30–40 minutes. Quick chai. But I think I ended up spending 4 hours in their house," Raghav recalled with evident fondness.
The meeting evolved into a comprehensive family experience as he described: "We sat, chatted, ate, had tea, buffet, had lunch. It was a fantastic meeting." When questioned about any potential tensions during this crucial first impression, Raghav laughingly dismissed the idea, stating, "Not at all. She gave me a lot of love."
In a surprising revelation, Raghav confessed he felt more nervous meeting Parineeti's parents than delivering speeches in Parliament. "For the first time, I was a little more nervous than when I was giving a speech in Parliament," he admitted, highlighting the significance of this personal milestone.
From Wedding to Parenthood: A Complete Timeline
The couple's relationship has progressed rapidly through significant milestones. They got engaged on May 13, 2023, at Delhi's historic Kapurthala House, followed by their wedding on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace in Udaipur.
Their journey took the most beautiful turn when they welcomed their son, Neer, on October 19 of this year. The couple shared the profound meaning behind their son's name in a social media post: "Jalasya rupam, premasya svarupam — tatra eva Neer... Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him 'NEER' — pure, divine, limitless."
The couple announced their pregnancy earlier this year before completing their family with the arrival of baby Neer, marking the beginning of their new chapter as parents.
