Pune Police Arrest Four in Anil More Murder, Prime Accused At Large

The Bhosari MIDC police have arrested four individuals in connection with the brutal murder of Anil Murti More, the state executive president of the Republican Party of India (Athavale) Kaamgar Aghadi. The incident occurred on May 13, and despite the arrests, the primary suspect remains at large.

Details of the Arrests

Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Senior Inspector Ganesh Jamdar apprehended Nagesh Kale (29), Ajay Gaikwad (20), Ajay Avhad (27), and Datta Shingare (30), all residents of Bhosari. According to an officer from the Bhosari MIDC police, the main conspirator who orchestrated the murder is still absconding.

Investigation Progress

The police had formed five separate teams to track down the accused. Through technical investigations and information from informants, the four suspects were captured in the Bhosari area. They have confessed to their involvement in the murder, and the investigation is ongoing.

Motive and Incident

The murder is believed to be the result of an old dispute. The accused allegedly attacked More with sharp weapons while he was at a bar in Moshi on May 13. En route to the hospital, More informed his driver that two men had assaulted him.
