Kevin Durant Regrets Missing BodyArmor Deal, Fans Outraged

Kevin Durant, the NBA legend, has broken many records throughout his career and is easily one of the most popular athletes in the world, but it seems he still has a lot of regrets about his life. In a recent interview, Kevin Durant blamed himself for passing on a lucrative partnership to Kobe Bryant, but many are disappointed with his answer.

Kevin Durant's Comments on Kobe Bryant's Fortune Spark Outrage

A few months ago, the NBA legend Kevin Durant appeared on Houston Rockets teammate Fred VanVleet's podcast, where he was asked if he ever "kicked himself" for missing out on deals in his career. To this, Kevin Durant said, "I passed up on BodyArmor. I was too slow…too slow to respond to some stuff." The NBA legend added, "And they just went on ahead and went crazy with it…Kobe changed his life off it. He might've made more money off of that than he did in the league."

While it seems like a heartfelt confession about the opportunities he has had to pass on in his career, it has sparked outrage among fans. A fan took to X and wrote, "When is it enough for you f***ing greedy motherf***ers? Build a dozen courts in your hometown. Build a hospital wing for a children hospital. Scholarship for kids that have the grades but can't make it in the good school…" Another fan posted, "There is nothing worse than NBA stars on podcasts. It's a tone-deaf crew and their stories aren't interesting. 'You remember that one time with Kobe?'" A third fan joked, "Smoking weed can slow down thinking, especially while you're high. It can affect attention, working memory, decision-making, and reaction time."
