The arrest, linked to an alleged financial fraud amounting to Rs 5 crore, occurred at the Mumbai International Airport on January 4, 2026.
Honeymoon Plans Interrupted by Police Action
Jay Dudhane, along with his wife Harshala, his brother, and sister-in-law, was all set to board a flight for an overseas holiday. However, their plans came to an abrupt halt when officials from the Thane Police intercepted them at the airport. The police acted on a Lookout Circular (LOC) issued against Dudhane, preventing him from leaving the country.
As he was escorted to a police vehicle in full view of the media, a composed yet distressed Dudhane maintained his innocence. He addressed reporters, stating he was unaware of any arrest warrant or LOC against him until that moment. "I was about to go on my honeymoon," he said, confirming his full cooperation with the investigating authorities.

"A false case hasn't been filed against me, but many things have been misrepresented. I am ready to face everything at my level. I have complete faith in justice.
