Nick Pasqual Convicted of Attempted Murder
Nick Pasqual, the actor who appeared as a guest on the popular television series How I Met Your Mother in Season 7 as one of Ted Mosby's architecture students, has been found guilty by a Los Angeles jury. After the assault, Pasqual fled the scene and was later apprehended at a border checkpoint between the United States and Mexico in Texas. His sentencing is scheduled for June 2, nearly two years after the incident occurred.
Testimony of the Victim
During the trial, Allie Shehorn testified against Pasqual, recounting the violence she experienced while dating him. She stated, "I locked the door, and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there's another lock on that door." Shehorn displayed visible scars on her neck and arm during her testimony, according to ABC7.
Shehorn's roommate, Christine White, also provided a harrowing account. Speaking to KTLA, she said, "I found her, and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened. That wasn't a pretty sight. This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody."
