HUBBALLI: Siddarth Parashanur (36), an artiste associated with the comedy reality show ‘Maja Bharatha’, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a forest area along Honnakuni Road in Humnabad taluk on Monday.
Siddarth, a resident of Teachers Colony in Humnabad, was the son of Kasturibai Parashanur, a former president of the Humnabad City Municipal Council.
He had left home with friends on June 13 but did not return. After three days, his worried family members approached the Humnabad Police Station on Monday morning to file a missing person complaint.
Police tracked his mobile tower location during the search and recovered his body from a forested area off Honnakuni Road.
The body has been shifted to the BRIMS Hospital mortuary. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, and Humnabad police are investigating the case.
