Bollywood Celebs' New Year 2026 Plans Revealed

As the final hours of 2025 tick away, Bollywood's glitterati are dispersing across the globe to welcome 2026 with their nearest and dearest. While some are heading to lavish private parties, others are opting for intimate family vacations, painting a diverse picture of year-end celebrations in tinsel town.

Star-Studded Celebrations at the Ambani Soirée

Salman Khan is set to ring in the New Year at one of the most anticipated events of the season. The superstar was photographed at Mumbai airport under tight security, en route to Jamnagar. His destination is the exclusive New Year festivities hosted by the Ambani family at Reliance Greens in Motikhawdi. Notably, Khan was snapped travelling in the company of actor-singer Iulia Vântur. The high-profile gathering is also expected to be attended by a host of other celebrities and sports personalities.

Honeymoon Bliss and Alpine Retreats

Meanwhile, newlywed actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is celebrating her first New Year as a married woman in the scenic locales of Portugal, seemingly on her honeymoon with husband Raj Nidimoru. She recently treated fans to a glimpse of their romantic getaway in Lisbon, sharing a series of pictures. The couple was seen exploring historic sites like the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary in the Sanctuary of Fátima and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. In a charming moment, Raj was captured gazing at his doughnut as they sampled local cuisine. Samantha captioned the serene photos, “How December goes.”

In a contrasting snowy setting, Kareena Kapoor Khan is upholding her family's annual tradition of a holiday in Gstaad, Switzerland. She is there with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, and their sons, Taimur and Jehangir. Kareena shared a rare relaxed picture of Saif, posing in a chair with majestic snow-capped mountains in the background, joking in her caption, “Finally got him to pose, and this is what I could manage.” She also posted an adorable Instagram Story of her younger son Jeh, his face hidden in a hoodie, playfully asking, "Who that boy on the train?”

More Stars on the Move

Adding to the exodus, actress Shriya Saran was also spotted leaving town earlier. She flew out of Mumbai with her husband, Andrei Koscheev, and their young daughter, heading to an undisclosed destination to celebrate the turn of the year privately.

As 2025 draws to a close, it's clear that for Bollywood's biggest names, the New Year's Eve celebration is a time for cherished traditions, new beginnings, and quality time with family, whether at a grand industrialist's party or on a quiet European street.
