Ashley St. Clair has revealed that she rejected a multi-million-dollar non-disclosure agreement (NDA) offered after the birth of her son, whom she says she shares with Elon Musk. The 27-year-old influencer stated that she chose principle over money.
Details of the NDA Offer
Speaking on the Don Lemon Show podcast, St. Clair claimed that Musk's representatives presented her with a financial package worth tens of millions of dollars in exchange for keeping their relationship and child private. She described the proposal as shocking, particularly because it was communicated via disappearing Signal messages.
According to St. Clair, the initial offer came through Musk's wealth manager, Jared Birchall. She alleged that Musk originally messaged, "Wire Ashley $15 million for a home and reserve capital," but later tied the payment to a confidentiality agreement. During a two-hour phone call, Birchall insisted on an NDA, which St. Clair objected to even after a larger offer was made.
The Final Offer
St. Clair claimed Musk later offered her "$15 million and $100,000 per month for 20 years" to remain silent. The terms included not disparaging Musk or speaking about his employees or affiliates. She replied, "I cannot in good conscience sign this."
Moral Decision
The influencer, who has two children including an older child from a previous relationship, explained that her decision was based on what was best for her family. She said, "It wasn't what was right for [my] children," adding, "I would rather go to a studio apartment with both of my children than sign this."
Public Dispute
St. Clair first publicly identified Musk as the father of her son, Romulus, in February 2025, when the child was five months old. Weeks later, Musk confirmed another son with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, bringing his total number of children to 14. The dispute has since become public, with St. Clair claiming her relationship with Musk changed after she became pregnant. She told TikTok followers, "As soon as I'm pregnant, this is when things start getting weird."
Musk has disputed some claims, stating in March 2025 that he had already provided her with $2.5 million and was sending $500,000 per year. Legal proceedings have ensued. St. Clair confirmed she has not spoken directly with Musk since rejecting the NDA.
This development comes as Musk recently became the world's first trillionaire.
