The trip, which included her husband Parmeet Sethi, their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmann, Aaryamann's fiancée Yogita Bihani, and Samiksha Shetty—rumoured to be dating Ayushmann—was a perfect blend of fun, banter, and classic family drama, culminating in a viral moment.
Winter Wonderland Visit Sparks Family Banter
The family decided to ring in New Year's Eve with a visit to the iconic London Winter Wonderland. For Archana, who compared the massive attraction to a grand but much colder Indian mela, it was a first-time experience despite her previous visits to the city. The excitement, however, took a humorous turn during a ride on the Ferris wheel.
Inside the pod, Parmeet Sethi cracked a joke of the toilet humour variety, which he fondly calls a "colon" joke. While it elicited laughs from everyone else, it did not sit well with Archana. Reacting instantly, she declared, "Iss baat pe divorce ho sakta hai!" (I can get divorced over this!). She made her distaste for such humour abundantly clear. Unfazed, Parmeet admitted he often makes these jokes primarily to see her animated reactions.
A Costly Disappointment: The 'Paisa Barbaad' Ride
The joke was just the beginning of Archana's grievances with the Ferris wheel experience. From inside the pod, she complained about not having any fun. Her frustration peaked when the ride ended abruptly, prompting her to exclaim, "Kya bakwas ride hai yeh!" (What a useless ride this is!).
The situation turned from bad to worse when her son Ayushmann revealed the cost of the disappointing experience. "And do you know how much we paid for this? Rs 8,000," he said. Addressing her fans and viewers directly, Archana labelled the ride a complete "paisa barbaad" (waste of money) and strongly advised everyone to skip it entirely.
Parmeet's 'Joker' Moment and a Heartwarming End
As the family stepped off the ill-fated ride, the banter continued. Parmeet shared a light-hearted observation, feeling that his future daughter-in-law, Yogita Bihani, saw him not as a normal person but as an animated character—a cartoon or essentially, a joker. Yogita was quick to reassure him, calling him her favourite person and praising him for being chill, expressive, and fascinating. A relieved Parmeet laughed and said, "Bach gayi yeh! Yeh acha answer tha. Full marks!" (I'm saved! That was a good answer. Full marks!).
After the Ferris wheel episode, the family explored the rest of the fair, sampling various foods and visiting the ice-skating rink.
