Taylor Frankie Paul Files New Protective Order Against Estranged Partner Dakota Mortensen

Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her role in 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives', has taken legal action by filing a new protective order against her estranged partner, Dakota Mortensen. This move comes amid a series of domestic violence cases that have unfolded between the couple since the beginning of the year.

Details of the Protective Order Filing

According to recent reports from PEOPLE, Paul officially filed the protective order on April 7. In the legal documents, she outlined four separate instances where Mortensen allegedly abused her. The allegations include:

  • Assault and Harassment: Paul claims she was subjected to "assault, harassment, and stalking" by Mortensen, with detailed accounts of physical harm.
  • Incident in February: One alleged event dates back to late February, when Mortensen visited her home to talk. They went outside to avoid waking the children and got into his car. Paul alleges that Mortensen drove away despite her protests, leading to an argument where he slammed her head against the dashboard and struck her knee and elbow. She provided photos of bruises as evidence.
  • Stalking Allegation: In February, Mortensen reportedly got Paul's initials tattooed on the inside of his lip and sent her a photo. Paul stated, "My initials are now permanently tattooed on the body of a man who has been abusive toward and possessive of me."
  • Another Incident in May Last Year: During an argument at her residence, Paul asked Mortensen to leave, but he refused. She lost her footing, fell, and was allegedly kicked by Mortensen. Photos of bruises were also provided for this instance.

Background and Current Status

The couple has been involved in multiple domestic violence cases since early this year, adding to the gravity of the situation. Paul also mentioned that Mortensen visited her home early one morning in February because their son, Ever, was having trouble sleeping at his father's home.
