Stars Arrive to Offer Condolences
Among the latest to pay their respects were actors Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor. They were photographed arriving at the late legend's home in the evening, dressed somberly in white attire. Accompanied by Kunal Kapoor, the stars were seen entering the residence to share in the family's grief and offer their support during this difficult time.
Their visit is part of a continuous stream of support from the film fraternity. Since the completion of the final rites, the Deol family has received numerous celebrities at their door. The veteran actor passed away on November 24 at his home in Mumbai. His funeral was held at the Vile Parle crematorium, where the industry gathered to bid a final goodbye. The ceremony was attended by a constellation of Bollywood's biggest stars, including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Govinda.
The most poignant images from the day were those of his grieving family. His wife, superstar Hema Malini, and daughter Esha Deol were seen rushing to the crematorium. Esha, appearing utterly shattered, and Hema Malini, with hands folded, represented a family in mourning, saying a final goodbye to their beloved.

Born in Punjab in 1935, Dharmendra's journey to stardom began in the early 1960s after he was discovered through a talent hunt. His career, spanning an incredible six decades, saw him feature in over 300 films. For his immense contribution to Indian cinema, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan, the country's third-highest civilian award.
The actor leaves behind an unforgettable legacy of cult classics that have been etched into the heart of Indian pop culture. Films like 'Sholay', 'Blackmail', and 'Chupke Chupke' remain beloved by audiences across generations. His most recent appearance was in the film 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. His final film, 'Ikkis', directed by Sriram Raghavan, is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025. The actor would have celebrated his 90th birthday on December 8 this year.
