That theory intensified after E! News reported that Swift was spotted at Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan on Monday night, arriving around 8:30 p.m. and staying until 6 a.m. the next morning. She was accompanied by Alana and Danielle Haim, her longtime friends and frequent collaborators.
A second source dismissed the idea that the session was routine. "Nobody believes Taylor was sitting in a recording studio for no reason," they said.
