Internet Sensation Monalisa Bhosle Weds Farman Khan in Kerala Temple Ceremony
Monalisa Bhosle, who rose to internet fame during the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, has officially married her boyfriend Farman Khan in a ceremony held at the Nainar Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The wedding took place after the couple approached local police authorities following significant opposition from Monalisa's family members.
Police Intervention Amid Family Dispute
The development comes days after Monalisa reportedly sought assistance at the Thampanoor Police Station, where she informed officers that her family strongly opposed the relationship. She expressed concerns that her father was attempting to take her back to their hometown against her explicit wishes.
According to police officials, Monalisa and Farman arrived at the station accompanied by members of a film crew she was working with in Kerala. During their interaction with authorities, she clearly stated her intention to remain with her partner and proceed with marriage plans despite family objections.
A police officer was quoted by India Today stating, "She insisted that she will not go with her father and made it clear that she plans to marry her boyfriend. Since she is a major, she has the right to make her own decisions."
Officials confirmed that no police intervention was necessary as both individuals are legal adults capable of making independent choices. Following the discussion, Monalisa departed the station with her boyfriend and film crew members, while her father later returned to their hometown.
