Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and social media influencer Dharna Durga are joining forces for the upcoming film Maa Behen. The makers unveiled the trailer on Friday, offering audiences a glimpse into its chaotic and quirky storyline. The film also features Ravi Kishan and is directed by Suresh Triveni.

‘Maa Behen’ Trailer Introduces a Chaotic Family Story

The trailer opens with Madhuri portraying Rekha, who criticizes her daughter Jaya, played by Triptii, for deciding to sell her jewelry. The situation escalates quickly when Sushma, played by Dharna Durga, informs Rekha that her actions have caused trouble for the family. Jaya then confronts her mother about her flirtatious behavior, despite being widowed for several years. The trailer further introduces neighbor Gupta Ji, portrayed by Ravi Kishan, who expresses romantic interest in Rekha.

However, the tone shifts abruptly from humorous to serious when Gupta Ji suddenly dies inside Rekha's house. Shocked, Rekha calls her daughters late at night and asks them to help hide the body. The three women end up arguing, panicking, and trying to manage the situation while keeping it a secret from their neighbors. Soon, a search for Gupta Ji begins, led by his wife, played by Geetanjali Kulkarni. A police officer, played by Arunoday Singh, also joins the case, making things even more difficult for them. As reported in Hindustan Times, Madhuri said, “Rekha is not your typical Hindi cinema mother, and that's exactly what made the character so exciting for me. As an actor, it’s incredibly rewarding to explore layered, unpredictable roles that challenge the audience's expectations. Rekha may not be a perfect mother, but like any mother, she wants the best for her daughters and tries to hold her family together amidst all the chaos.”
