As Jr NTR prepares to celebrate his birthday on May 20, the makers of his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘NTRNEEL’, have teased fans with a special update set to be unveiled on the actor’s special day.
Makers Share a Glimpse
The film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a picture of Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel immersed in a discussion. In the image, Jr NTR holds a black umbrella and stands casually talking with Prashanth Neel, who is wearing a white t-shirt and blue bottom wear.
Teaser Captions
The old picture was shared with two intriguing captions. One reads, “You know the business and I know the chemistry...These two are known to rewrite everything… And so did this phrase.” In the image, a tagline appears: “You know the vision” over Prashanth Neel’s head, and “And I know the storm” over Jr NTR’s head.
Along with the post, the makers teased that an update will be made very soon, adding, “Wait for May 20th…. #NTRNeel.”
Title Rumored to Be ‘Dragon’
It is expected that the makers will officially announce the title and share the first look of Jr NTR from the film. Rumors suggest the movie will be called ‘Dragon’.

The film also features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and includes Anil Kapoor in a key role.
Last month, on April 21, the makers shared a poster announcing a revised release date. The poster showed Jr NTR in a striking silhouette standing atop rugged terrain against a dust-filled backdrop, maintaining an intense yet calm and raw stance. Along with the post, the makers announced that the film is scheduled to hit the big screens on June 11, 2027.
