Mumbai to Host Solemn Tribute for Nation's Bravehearts

The city of Mumbai is set to host a poignant ceremony of remembrance and gratitude as the Global Peace Honours 2025 prepares to illuminate the Gateway of India on November 22. This significant event, organized by the Divyaj Foundation under the leadership of Amruta Fadnavis, aims to honor the enduring legacy of India's martyrs, particularly the heroes of the 26/11 terror attacks and the families affected by the Pahalgam attacks.

A Beacon of Hope and Remembrance

Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, articulated the core mission behind the initiative. She emphasized that the evening is designed to ensure the courage and sacrifice of the nation's bravehearts are remembered with the profound respect they deserve. The event seeks to provide a dedicated space for recognition and gratitude towards the families of these heroes, while simultaneously reminding the entire country of the values they stood for.

The choice of venue is deeply symbolic. The Gateway of India, which stood as a silent witness to the horrors of the 26/11 tragedy, will be transformed into a beacon of hope. In a powerful visual representation of collective remembrance, hundreds of lanterns will light up the Mumbai skyline, creating a solemn and hopeful atmosphere.

Star-Studded Tributes and Ceremonial Highlights

The event will see participation from some of the biggest names in Bollywood, adding a significant public dimension to the tribute. In one of the most anticipated segments of the evening, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is expected to take part in a special tribute dedicated to India's bravehearts.

The ceremony will be hosted by actor Vikrant Massey, ensuring a dignified and engaging flow of events. Adding a dynamic element to the homage, Tiger Shroff will dedicate a special performance in honour of the martyrs. The guest list also includes prominent personalities like Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar, who will join citizens and dignitaries in paying their respects to those who laid down their lives protecting the nation.

Honouring Extraordinary Courage

At the heart of the Global Peace Honours are the awards themselves, meticulously crafted to acknowledge acts of extraordinary courage and selfless service. The evening will feature two special felicitations: the Global Peace Honours and the National Valour and Leadership Honour. These awards will be presented to individuals whose contributions have made a substantial and impactful difference.

As Amruta Fadnavis powerfully stated, "This evening is not just about remembrance, it's about gratitude. The heroes who fought for our nation showed us what courage looks like. Global Peace Honours is our way of saying their legacy lives on." The event stands as a powerful testament to the nation's spirit of courage, unity, and resilience, ensuring that the sacrifice of its protectors is never forgotten.
