The festival organizers have confirmed that DiCaprio will receive the award during the Film Awards ceremony scheduled for January 3, 2026. The event will take place at the Palm Springs Convention Center, bringing together the who's who of the entertainment industry.
Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi expressed his enthusiasm about honouring the talented actor. He revealed that this recognition comes in light of DiCaprio's "riveting and emotionally-charged performance" in Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film 'One Battle After Another'.
