The startup cell at Government Engineering College (GEC), Buxar, took a significant step to prepare its students for the modern workforce. On Tuesday, it organised an expert interaction session focused on the crucial transition from academic life to the professional world.

The session, themed “From college to industry: Careers, startups & the role of AI,” was designed to familiarise B.Tech students with current industry demands. It aimed to shed light on the thriving startup culture and the increasingly pivotal role of artificial intelligence across sectors.

Principal Ram Naresh Rai inaugurated the programme. He emphasised that the goal of technical education extends far beyond merely awarding degrees. "The true objective is to equip our students with innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical skills," he stated. Rai highlighted startup culture and AI as key drivers of the future and urged students to commit to continuous learning to contribute effectively to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.
