The festivities commenced with an engaging book fair that set the tone for the celebrations. The school had the honor of welcoming renowned athlete Pankaj Dimri as the chief guest for the opening ceremony. Adding to the cultural richness of the event, Junior School students presented a captivating theatrical production under the direction of an alumnus, demonstrating the strong bonds that former students maintain with their alma mater.

Inspirational Address and Artistic Showcases

Saturday witnessed the opening of a contemporary art exhibition to the public, displaying the creative work of students across various classes. The artistic displays highlighted the diverse talents nurtured within the school's walls.

The founders' assembly received profound wisdom from N N Vohra, former governor of Jammu & Kashmir, who delivered an inspiring address to the gathering. Vohra emphasized the importance of hard work and responsible citizenship, stating, "India is rising on the strength of its people. Each one of us has a role in safeguarding the nation's values and contributing to its security."

The celebration included the presentation of awards to both students and staff members for their exemplary contributions to the school community. This recognition ceremony highlighted the institution's commitment to acknowledging excellence in various fields.

The chairman and chief guest marked another significant moment by releasing the Yearbook 2024, followed by the screening of 'Welham Newz' - a documentary that beautifully captured everyday moments of school life, providing a nostalgic journey for alumni and current students alike.

The audience was treated to mesmerizing orchestral and folk performances that showcased the cultural diversity and artistic training at the school. The senior school further elevated the cultural experience by staging a play that demonstrated their dramatic prowess.
