Rajasthan Staff Selection Board Declares Platoon Commander 2025 Results

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has officially announced the preference-wise results for the Platoon Commander direct recruitment 2025. This significant announcement includes detailed category-wise cut-off marks along with the complete list of candidates who have been shortlisted for the crucial Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.

Recruitment Details and Selection Process

The recruitment drive specifically targeted 84 Platoon Commander positions within the Home Defence Department. Among these vacancies, 82 posts were designated for non-scheduled areas while the remaining two positions were reserved for scheduled areas. The examination took place across two separate shifts, one in the morning and another in the evening. Candidates successfully progressed through the initial screening based on their application details and their performance in the main examination.

The Board meticulously prepared a priority list of successful candidates. This list was compiled by considering both the preferences indicated in the application forms and the marks obtained by each candidate. Official documents labeled Appendix-1 and Appendix-2 contain the roll numbers and categories for candidates from non-scheduled and scheduled areas respectively.

Shortlisting Criteria for Physical Tests

From the pool of qualified candidates, the Board selected individuals for the Physical Efficiency Test using a specific formula. They shortlisted candidates up to ten times the number of advertised posts. This selection was made category-wise to ensure proper representation.

Additionally, the Board included an extra ten times the number of candidates from the horizontal Outstanding Sportsperson category. The final shortlist for the Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test has been formally released through Appendix-3 for non-scheduled areas and Appendix-4 for scheduled areas. The official RSSB website now hosts these final PET shortlists for both area categories.

Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks Revealed

The Board has published comprehensive cut-off marks across various categories. For the General category in non-scheduled areas, the cut-off stands at 316.2887. The Scheduled Caste category requires 287.1788, while the Scheduled Tribe category needs 292 marks. Economically Weaker Section candidates must achieve 306.0252, and Other Backward Class aspirants need 310.1638.

Most Backward Class candidates face a cut-off of 304.2778. Female candidates in the General category have a separate cut-off of 297.5422. The Special Category cut-off has been set at 271.8635. For scheduled areas specifically, the General category cut-off is slightly lower at 286.7283.

Several other sub-categories have their own specific requirements. Widow category candidates need 197.8324, while Divorcee category General candidates require 286.2325. Ex-Serviceman category candidates have varying cut-offs depending on their specific classification.

Important Notices and Future Steps

The Board has disclosed that ten candidates faced disqualification during the process. These candidates failed to darken any option in more than ten percent of the examination questions. The Board issued a clear warning that candidature may face cancellation at any stage if authorities discover incorrect information or detect any unfair means.

All candidates have received strong advice to regularly check the official Rajasthan Staff Selection Board website for further updates and announcements. The Board's IT Cell has received specific directions to upload all necessary appendices promptly. Meanwhile, recruitment authorities will coordinate closely with the concerned department to complete the remaining stages of the selection process efficiently.

The Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test represents the next critical phase for shortlisted candidates. Those who clear these physical tests will move closer to securing one of the 84 coveted Platoon Commander positions in Rajasthan's Home Defence Department.
