The state capital, Jaipur, has issued a detailed plan tailored to different age groups. The district administration has declared holidays for students up to Class 5 until January 10. For slightly older pupils in Classes 6 to 8, the holidays will be in effect until January 8.
However, the administration clarified that the holiday order is specifically for students. A release from the Jaipur district administration stated, "The holidays will be applicable only to students on the said dates. All teaching and non-teaching staff will ensure their presence at schools." This ensures that school premises are prepared for when students return and that administrative work continues uninterrupted.
Examinations and Academic Calendar to Proceed
Importantly, the disruption is intended to be minimal for the academic schedule. The administration has emphasized that examinations will be conducted as per the original schedule.
