In a remarkable achievement for India's public education system, eleven students from Pune's zilla parishad and municipal schools have earned the prestigious opportunity to represent the country at Robotex International 2025.
Pune's Young Innovators Secure Global Spot
The selected students will travel to Tallinn, Estonia, to participate in the global robotics and technology festival scheduled for December 5-6, 2025. This marks the fourth consecutive year that students from Pune zilla parishad have demonstrated exceptional talent in robotics competitions.
Their journey to the international stage began at the Robotex India National Championship 2025, held at MIT ADT University, where they competed against over 5,000 students from across India. The competition featured advanced robotics disciplines including:
- Entrepreneurship
- Water rally
- Folk race
- Girls' fire-fighting
- Line follower events

From a pool of more than 1,000 participants from government schools nationwide, these eleven students stood out for their exceptional skills in robot design, coding capabilities, strategic thinking, and teamwork.
